great central spot for exploring the delaware water gap area

I had an enjoyable stay with the charm of a cozy cabin and the fun of my dog swimming in the on-site lake, making it a memorable getaway while being just a short drive from Buttermilk Falls and the beautiful Smithfield Beach National Recreation Area, perfect for nature lovers like me.

I enjoyed swimming in the lake, but the shower barely had any water pressure.

Delightful accommodations, welcoming staff, where the staff went above and beyond to offer recommendations and the gym offered all the essentials for a great workout.

I really enjoyed the stunning mountain views and the cozy fire pits; they were perfect for a relaxing night with friends. However, the room mismatched the website pictures.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, but the air conditioning was a bit loud.

Had an amazing getaway with friends! We hiked through the beautiful Pocono Mountains and enjoyed darts and tennis at the property. Plus, it was just a short drive to nearby attractions. The complimentary nightclub access was a blast!

However, our room wasn't as clean as expected, and we could hear everything from neighboring rooms. It was a bit distracting during our stay.

The spa was a perfect escape, and the BBQ facilities made our evenings special. Just wish the water pressure in the shower was a tad stronger, but it didn't ruin our time at all! 🎉

Pretty surroundings but needs improvement

The area is really nice, and the historic vibe is cool. The room was small, like 10x10 and felt cramped with just a bed and nightstand. Our friends said the pool looked kinda gross, like, the water was green! And the restaurant took forever to serve us, over 2 hrs. Eek!

The staff was responsive and attentive, assisting with accommodations efficiently. The outdoor space featured beautiful mountain views, creating a serene environment for my business stay. Overall, the setting made for a pleasant backdrop to my work-related travels.

It was just a great match for a brief hiatus in East Stroudsburg with all in all brilliant value for money. The small nature path around the lake was a nice touch and perfect for morning strolls. Get to the pool early or head there after 4 to avoid the crowd.

A Vibrant Community Experience

I had an amazing stay surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Poconos. The large pool was a highlight, offering a perfect space for relaxation and socializing with fellow guests. The Bistro served delicious food, especially their crab cakes! However, I think they could improve on the consistency of room amenities.

the location is perfect, right in the heart of the poconos and close to great mountain views. the staff is super helpful, and i enjoyed the spa centre with the hot tub and sauna. the room was clean and cozy, with a comfy bed and nice towels!

Inclusive and Safe Environment

I had an amazing time at the Cherry House! The private porch was perfect for relaxing, and the bistro offered outstanding food that was worth the wait. The nature path around the lake was a lovely bonus! I'll definitely return.
